Position: After School Group Leader
Location: Moanalua Elementary, Honolulu, HI
Start Date: August 4, 2025 (Interviewing in June/July)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:30–5:30 PM (No evenings or weekends!)

The Opportunity:
Embark on a rewarding journey as a Group Leader in our brand-new After School Program at Moanalua Elementary. Whether you're a student, a parent, or someone passionate about education, this role offers a chance to create a fun and safe environment for students. No prior experience? No problem! We provide comprehensive training to set you up for success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Student Engagement:  Lead and supervise a group of students during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and active participation.
  • Activity Planning: Design and implement fun and educational activities, including arts and crafts, games, and homework assistance.
  • Accountability:  Design and implement fun and educational activities, including arts and crafts, games, and homework assistance.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old (16+ for Aide positions)
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Passion for working with children.
  • No prior experience necessary—we provide comprehensive training.

A Typical Day:

  • Welcome children to the program with a warm greeting.
  • Assist with snacks and homework to help kids settle in.
  • Engage in fun activities like board games, crafts, and outdoor play.
  • Facilitate group events such as talent shows or Lego-building contests.
  • Connect with families during pick-up times.
