We're looking for an **Assistant Bookkeeper** to join our Business Management team. In this role, you will help oversee financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, as well as handling daily financial entries and reconciliations. ### **Responsibilities**
- Process and track accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions, invoices, and vendor relationships to ensure a smooth cash flow process.
- Reconcile multiple bank accounts and financial statements, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
- Manage financial records for multiple clients, including data entry, invoicing, and ensuring transactions are correctly recorded.
- Maintain accurate ledgers for each client and assist in preparing financial reports.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in preparing financial reports such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Help with tax filings, including processing 1099s and supporting quarterly and annual tax return preparation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scanning, mailing, and organizing documents as needed.
- Take on additional related duties as assigned.

### **Qualifications**
#### **Required:**
- 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience in a business management firm.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online.
#### **Preferred:**
- Familiarity with Datafaction/AgilLink.
- Experience with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and 1099 processing.
#### **Skills & Abilities:**
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
