### Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Assistant Bookkeeper to join our Business Management team. In this role, you will help maintain financial accuracy by overseeing accounts payable and receivable, managing daily financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with industry best practices.

### Responsibilities:
- Process and track accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Maintain accurate transaction records, invoices, and vendor relationships for seamless cash flow management.
- Reconcile multiple bank accounts and financial statements, promptly identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Manage financial records for multiple clients, handling data entry, invoicing, and transaction accuracy.
- Maintain client ledgers and assist in preparing financial reports to ensure accurate data classification and recording.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in preparing internal financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Help with tax filings, including processing 1099s and supporting quarterly and annual tax return preparation.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies.
- Perform general administrative duties such as scanning, mailing, and document organization.
- Assist with additional projects and tasks as needed.

### Qualifications:
Required:
- 2-3 years of bookkeeping experience at a business management firm.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online.

Preferred:
- Experience with Datafaction/AgilLink.
- Familiarity with 1099 processing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

### Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

### Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
