We specialize in sustainable, water-efficient designs tailored to the desert Southwest. As we prepare for our 2025 expansion, we’re seeking experienced professionals who take pride in quality work, accountability, and long-term client relationships.

Position Summary:

We are hiring a bilingual (English/Spanish) Commercial Irrigation Technician with strong experience in commercial landscape irrigation and desert-specific watering practices. This position requires not only technical skill, but also reliability, integrity, and strong communication.

The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, self-motivated, and have a clean driving record, no criminal history, and references who can vouch for your character and professionalism. You must also be comfortable using mobile technology to document work, and willing to participate in our on-call rotation for emergency irrigation needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial irrigation systems including valves, controllers, pumps, drip lines, and spray heads.
• Perform seasonal controller programming and adjustments based on plant and turf requirements.
• Apply strong working knowledge of desert-adapted plant and turf watering needs to optimize system performance.
• Conduct system inspections, water audits, and propose solutions to improve efficiency or meet water compliance.
• Use a company-issued mobile app to track job progress, submit reports, upload photos, and manage work orders in real time.
• Clearly communicate with clients and team members in English or Spanish.
• Be available for on-call emergency response as part of a rotating schedule.

Company Vehicle Policy:

• A company vehicle may be issued after 30 days, based on performance and adherence to company standards.
• Vehicle use is subject to approval and dependent on whether it can be stored securely overnight at your residence.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in commercial irrigation service or installation.
• Familiarity with Phoenix-area water restrictions and desert climate maintenance strategies.
• Working knowledge of irrigation system components and diagnostics.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written preferred).
• Strong documentation and mobile app usage skills.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• No criminal history; must pass background check.
• Must provide references who can vouch for your character and work ethic.
• Willingness to be part of an on-call rotation for emergency calls.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Irrigation-related certifications (IA, Rain Bird, Hunter, etc.).
• Smart irrigation system experience.
• Knowledge of landscape plant health and desert horticulture.
• Ability to generate estimates and client proposals in the field.
