HOW A CYBERSECURITY ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
  • Working with the contract team and customer to resolve challenges and maintain system and tool availability
  • High-paced and dynamic customer environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Work supports a critical federal agency with an important mission, this role is part of a team that maintains cybersecurity tools and systems.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: BA or BS preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or related scientific or technical discipline.
  • Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
  • Required Technical Skills: CompTIA Security+
  • Security Clearance Level: Interim Secret or Top Secret or SCI
  • Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Flexible, team-oriented, problem-solving skills
  • Ability to assess complex cyber threats and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Capable of conveying technical information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Thorough in reviewing configurations, logs, and security events.
  • Ability to respond quickly to evolving cyber threats and shifting priorities.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity tools, threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and secure system design.
  • Evaluates risk and makes informed decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Preferred Skills: CISSP

The likely salary range for this position is $119,862 - $162,166. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
