The Information Systems Division works in collaboration with programs and county agencies, to provide solutions to systems that assist families access essentials such as, but not limited to, medical services, care providers, groceries, and transportation.
Job Summary:
Lead and oversee and guide the procurement and contract processes for IT and non-IT contracts and Inter-Agency Agreements within assigned divisions. Collaborate with program teams and Technology Administration (TAS) to ensure compliance with departmental standards, manage the contract life cycle, and address contract-related inquiries. Monitor contract progress, research issues, and prepare detailed reports and recommendations.
Policy Implementation: Assist in applying new agency and California Department of Technology (CDT) standards for contracts and procurement. Work with the Technology Administration Bureau to update and ensure compliance with contract and procurement procedures, including adherence to the State Contract Manual and Public Contract Code.
Facilitation: Facilitate the procurement and Inter-Agency Agreement processes for assigned divisions. Ensure all documentation meets departmental standards through collaboration with program and TAS management and staff.
Liaison: Serve as the liaison between ISD and program management to address business needs, implement new processes, and manage workflows related to procurement, contracts, and projects.
Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the classification.
