Overview

IGT Lakeland is excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for an Intern or equivalent experience in our Account Services department for Summer 2025. Ambitious students in Business, Analytics, or Operations programs are encouraged. Paid internships offer up to 28 hours per week for valuable industry experience and collaboration.

Internship project(s) or function(s) to be completed

• Support the Account Services department in process improvements, special projects, and documentation of SOPs.
• Apply IGT documentation and data for conducting root cause analysis and discovering opportunities for flawless improvement.
• Maintain and update the Account Services Post-Executed Changes (PEC) database.

Definition of goals and/or end results

The main goal of this internship is to drive process improvement within the Account Services department, resulting in reduced error rates and improved operational efficiency.

The Account Services Intern will:

• Gain insights into the overall instant ticket game development process.
• Review data for PECs caused by errors or omissions.
• Identify improvement opportunities and lead a project aimed at mitigating future errors.

A successful completion of this project will:

• Empower the Account Services team to improve our processes and significantly reduce errors, ultimately elevating our service quality.

Business Value:

• Improve our overall customer experience by strictly minimizing PECs, thereby ensuring a seamless service delivery.

Database Maintenance

The Account Services Intern will:

• Keep our PEC Database in Microsoft Access up to date for better performance.

A successful completion of this project will provide business value in terms of:

• A better-functioning database for the Account Services team.
• Comprehensive reports that will be applied by the management team for strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business, Analytics, Operations, or a related field.
• Maintains a GPA of at least 3.0.
• Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
• Experience or familiarity with Microsoft Access databases.
• Experience or familiarity with data analysis techniques.
