Are you prepared to lead a high-performing maintenance team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? We are seeking a hands-on, motivated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance operations at our advanced ethanol refinery, located just 30 minutes from Metro City in Southeast Nebraska.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will mentor and develop a team of Maintenance and Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technicians, champion equipment reliability initiatives, and promote proactive maintenance strategies to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted plant operations. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, you will be instrumental in advancing plant performance and operational excellence.
Team Leadership & Development
Supervise, support, and motivate Maintenance and E&I Technicians.
Manage staffing including scheduling, timecards, PTO, hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
Troubleshooting & Reliability
Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) to identify and resolve persistent equipment issues.
Collaborate on Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Equipment Maintenance Plans (EMP) to enhance asset reliability.
Proactive Maintenance Management
Plan and schedule preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement toward best-in-class standards.
Systems & Process Strategy
Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work order tracking, data analysis, and inventory management.
Compliance & Safety Leadership
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and all relevant environmental and safety regulations.
Oversee Management of Change (MOC) protocols and maintain thorough documentation.
Associate’s degree in a STEM discipline (Engineering preferred) or equivalent industrial experience.
Minimum 7 years’ experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in ethanol or continuous process manufacturing.
At least 5 years in supervisory or technical leadership roles.
Strong knowledge of plant equipment, including evaporators, centrifuges, boilers, chillers, pumps, valves, compressors, and instrumentation.
Proven troubleshooting, reliability, and maintenance planning skills.
Proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Office.
Thorough understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations.
Salary: $125,000 annually plus 10% performance bonus.
