Job Title: NDT Level II Location: Greenville, SC 29617 Area Code: 864 Pay Rate: $32.00-36.00/hour Shift: 3rd (Sunday-Friday 11:00pm-7:00am EDT) Full time, with full benefits #NDT #gaspower #manufacturing About the Role: As an NDT Level II Technician with a focus on Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI), you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and quality of various components and assemblies. You will be responsible for performing detailed non-destructive tests to identify potential defects and ensuring that our products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed MPI and LPI on a variety of components and assemblies, ensuring comprehensive coverage and accurate defect detection.
• Conduct and oversee critical inspections, providing clear, accurate, and concise interpretation of inspection results utilizing both manual techniques and advanced NDT inspection systems.
• Provide essential support for various organizational activities, including proposal development, equipment maintenance, process instruction revisions, new test method development, interpretation of customer technical specifications, and identification of productivity enhancements.
• As needed, assist with or act as a backup for inspections utilizing complementary NDT methods, contributing to the team's flexibility and comprehensive capabilities.

Desired Qualities:

• Ability to work 3rd shift (Sun-Thur, 11-7pm)
• Certified in Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI) at the NDT Level II, demonstrating a high level of expertise and understanding in these methods.
• Experience with and understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities presented by 3D printed materials and welded assemblies.
• A proactive learner and innovator, eager to stay informed about the latest developments in NDT technologies and practices.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop training materials and effectively convey complex information to technicians of varying skill levels.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of developing and implementing solutions to enhance inspection accuracy and efficiency.

Desired but not required skills:

• AS or BS in Engineering
• Familiarity with Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), and Eddy Current Testing (ECT)
