About this role: As a Palliative Care Physician, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role, you will join a passionate and energetic team of one full-time Palliative Care Physician , one APP , as well as a dedicated RN, LCSW, and Chaplain - they function like a family and care deeply about their patients.
- Practice at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, CO
- The Palliative Service is open Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, with no call
- Play a critical role on a busy service with around 8 consults a day
- Work closely with local hospice agencies including one with a beautiful 13 bed inpatient unit when needed
- Make a significant and powerful impact on people and their families during times of need

Compensation: Annual Salary: $270,820.00
Relocation: up to $20,000.00
Starting Bonus: $30,000.00
Student Loan: $75,000.00
What you'll bring: - MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- ABMS board certification or eligibility in Family , Internal, Palliative Medicine
- Experience with inpatient adult consult services is preferred. .
- Active, unrestrictive Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- BLS and ACLS certification and DEA
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
