Position Title: Police Officer

Salary Information: $25.25 to $33.50 per hour

Benefit Information:

Shift Differential: 10% for nights and 15% for weekends

Work Schedule: Officers work a rotating schedule of 3-12 hour shifts and 1-6 hour shift with 3.5 days off, rotating weekends every 6 weeks
Department Overview:

Premier Health offers a diverse work environment across five main hospitals. Officers are provided with all necessary equipment and uniforms. The role involves critical response skills in a dynamic environment, interacting with patients, guests, and staff. Officers perform duties similar to those in major cities, but within a more concentrated environment.

Area Information:

Serving the Dayton, Englewood, Centerville, Troy, and Middletown areas.

Job Requirements:

Age: Must be 21 years or older
Citizenship: U.S. citizenship required
Education: High School Diploma or GED required
Driver's License: Must have a valid state driver's license
Language Skills: Ability to read and speak English required
Vision: Must be correctable to 20/20
Certification: Must have OPOTA Police Academy certification
