PRODUCTION OPERATOR II **At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.** ​ **Job Overview** TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures **Position Overview:** + Running 2 - 3 cablers in the department. + Employee must be productive, accountable, responsible and have great attendance. **Responsibilities:** + Set machine by following Manufacturing System (MS) guidelines. + Monitor the process while machines are running. + Adjustments and all aspects of machine loading and changeovers. + Completes necessary operational paperwork. + Proficient with using measuring devices **(micrometer, calipers, scale)** + Basic use of hand tools **(crescent wrench, allen wrench, screwdriver)** + Ensures proper cleanliness of equipment and immediate area in accordance with company housekeeping, safety, and environmental, and lean manufacturing guidelines. + Follow company and department guidelines, procedures and policies. + Good communication skills. + Basic math skills. **What your background should look like:** **Qualifications:** + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Must be able to lift 40 lbs. + Empty garbage and scrap bins. + Support production with any supplies or raw materials needed. **Competencies** Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork **ABOUT TE CONNECTIVITY** TE Connectivity is a global industrial technology leader creating a safer, sustainable, productive, and connected future.
