Job Description

Banyan Living is a premier property management company devoted to enhancing the quality of life for our residents while maximizing the value of our properties. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our properties and to foster a sense of community among our residents.

As a Property Manager at Banyan Living, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall performance of the property, ensuring resident satisfaction, and meeting financial goals. Your role will involve managing a team, developing and implementing strategies to boost occupancy rates, and coordinating maintenance and repair efforts to uphold property standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the leasing process from start to finish, including marketing, showings, and lease signings.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property and ensure maintenance issues are addressed promptly.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new residents.
  • Maintain budgets and financial records, including rent collection and expense tracking.
  • Cultivate a positive living environment through resident engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal property regulations.
  • Train and supervise on-site staff, providing ongoing support and guidance.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in property management or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in property management software and general office software.
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws and property management regulations.
  • Proven customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to lead a team and manage staff effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.
