Under direction of the Public Safety Dispatch Supervisor II, the incumbent will be responsible for planning, organizing, supervising and assigning work to communications center personnel; prepare performance evaluations, monthly CHP 100, Evaluation/Activity Summary forms, citizens’ complaints, injury and illness reports; monitor/manage critical incidents; ability to perform dispatch duties using Inform Computer Aided Dispatch; provide direction and assistance to subordinate personnel and other duties as assigned.

This position requires the ability to type at a minimum speed designated on the Classification Specifications (link available in the minimum requirements section).  You must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed prior to being hired.  Additional information regarding acceptable typing tests:
