Introduction

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a developer, focusing on backend development and framework building. This role offers the opportunity to work on a major platform, contributing to its scalability and performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in backend-focused development and framework development

• Expertise in functional and object-oriented programming, specifically in Python

• Experience with databases, including NoSQL databases

• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures

• Experience building distributed and scalable complex services and robust microservices

• Proficiency in writing unit tests using pytest or unittest

• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation

• Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive

• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a passion for learning and problem solving

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Math

• Applicants must be able to work directly for our company on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in reviewing and providing code feedback focusing on best practices, performance, and stability optimizations

• Ability to write reusable and extendable code, contributing significantly to the core platform

• Experience in becoming a subject matter expert on deployed code and providing support to other developers

• Design and build horizontally scalable components within the major platform

• Consistently work to make our software simpler
