What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a talented and driven per diem  Registered Nurse to join our McLean Clinic to cover our Friday shifts, with the potential of providing coverage on other days during the week. This is a temporary contract position scheduled to run from October 2025 through January 2026. Our McLean Clinic hours of operations are 7:00am – 3:00pm. This position will provide required support to physicians and other staff members in performing physical examinations and other procedures.

In this role, you will:

• Perform all patient procedures according to EHE guidelines
• Explain testing procedures to patients
• Deliver exemplary customer service to patients
• Perform and maintain proficiency in venipuncture, specimen collection, EKG's, PFT’s, audiometric testing, vision testing, tonometry
• Serve as a QA nurse and actively participate in clinical CQI functions
• Provide all routine and travel vaccines as directed by the physician
• Assist with prepping all cardiac stress testing as directed by physician
• Promote and ensure a safe working environment for patients and coworkers
• Stock and clean exam rooms
• Assist with managing inventory and maintenance of medical supplies
• Assist in coordination of patient examinations, including escorting patients to testing and examination areas
• Perform administrative duties as directed

What the role requires:

• Current State nursing license and CPR/BLS certification, ACLS preferred
• 3 years or more related experience and/or training
• Strong phlebotomy skills and knowledge of vaccines
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities

The rate for this role is $30 - $40 per hour and is determined by a number of factors including the candidate's experience, qualifications and skills.
