Position Description

The registered nurse's responsibility includes collecting client health data and working with the patient/family to set attainable goals. The nurse shall also develop and modify the patient care plan as needed in collaboration with the physician, health care team and the patient and patient's family. Registered nurse must have strong assessment, triage, IV, and wound care skills. The nurse must be able to work closely with weekend supervisors to perform visits as assigned. Qualified candidates must be committed to providing outstanding care and possess the following qualities: detailed oriented, honesty, flexibility, organized, open minded, be a team player and proficient computer skills.

Educational Requirements

RN Degree NH or ME
One year experience as an RN required
Home care experience preferred
Requirements

Part-time salaried 24hr position
Must be available to work Friday after 4p for prn/scheduled visits and Saturday-Sunday 10hr shifts (8a-6p)
Must be available to cover Primary on call coverage Friday-Sunday during vacations
Strong communication skills Exceptional assessment skills Proficiency with medical EMR preferred

Valid driver's license in good standing and vehicle insurance are required
Ability to provide trusted, compassionate and expert care
