Intern – Software Development Engineer
Location Details: Tempe, AZ or Remote USA

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely. 

Hybrid-or-Remote: This position may be a hybrid or fully remote position, as decided by your manager. If designated as hybrid, you’ll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office location, so you should live within commuting distance. If designated as remote, you’ll be working remotely from your home and may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or offsites. Your hiring manager can share more about this role’s hybrid or remote designation.

About the Role

GoDaddy is looking for Summer 2026 Software Development Engineers Interns, data scientists and UX to join us in building and improving GoDaddy products. As an intern with our team you will make meaningful contributions to the company’s revenue, customer growth and innovation. This is a temporary 12 week internship assignment.

What you’ll get to do…

• Build outstanding services that help our internal and external customers succeed
• Write highly-scalable, highly-available, cloud-ready applications
• Solve end-to-end problems
• Test code (e.g. writing functional and unit tests)
• Adopt Agile methodologies to continuously release and deploy iterations of our services
• Embrace DevOps methodologies for enabling and supporting always-on services
• Collaborate with multiple teams to understand the needs of our customers.
• Develop a strong understanding how you can assist our customers in accomplishing their goals every day.
• Establish critical metrics to monitor for product and customer success
• Demonstrate a positive demeanor and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment with changing needs

Your experience should include…

• Completing a BS/MS in a computer science, information system, UX or related field.
• Experience in one programming language such as Java, Python, HTML, Javascript, C#, Go Lang etc.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, software designs, micro services, and cloud computing.
• Prior work experience with AWS is a plus.
• Demonstrates a passionate to develop sophisticated and groundbreaking solutions for real-world business problems
• Experience in an Agile development environment is plus
• Exhibit effortless analytical and research skills
• Excellent social, written and verbal interpersonal skills. Strong writing skills with the ability to write clearly and quickly, to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• You have completed multiple academia projects that demonstrate a deep understanding of different technologies and tools.
• Strong sense of curiosity and are always striving to improve your knowledge base.
