Job Summary: This role involves providing social work services to patients in an acute hospital setting. The Social Worker will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address the psychosocial needs of patients and their families. A minimum of two years of experience in this specialty is required. Location: Arkansas, United States, Responsibilities: - Conducting psychosocial assessments of patients. - Developing and implementing treatment plans to address patient needs. - Providing individual, family, and group therapy. - Coordinating discharge planning and referrals to community resources. - Collaborating with other members of the healthcare team. - Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records. - Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures. Required Skills & Certifications: - Minimum of two years of experience as a social worker in an acute hospital setting. - Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Georgia. Preferred Skills & Certifications: - Experience with specific patient populations (e.g., geriatrics, oncology). - Bilingual skills. - Master's degree in social work. Special Considerations: - This is a travel position; local candidates within 50 miles are not considered. - No on-call requirements. Scheduling: - Evening shift: 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. - 8-hour shifts. - 8-week assignment.
