About the position:

• Title: Unarmed Security Officer
• Location: Charleston, SC
• Employment type: Part-time/Flex
• $19 per hour
• TWIC Card required must be able to pass a DMV check
• This position varies from 0-20 hours per week maximum. This position is on call, perfect for a retiree looking to make a little extra cash
• Daily pay; get paid as soon as the NEXT DAY!

This position requires the use of a company vehicle; all applicants must have a valid Driver's License and be able to pass a DMV background check.

Security Officer Responsibilities:

• Access Control 
• Investigate and report maintenance and safety conditions that may endanger the client, its associates, or public safety 
• Patrols assigned on foot to maintain visibility and observe possible unusual activities at client facilities 
• Theft and vandalism determent 
• Ensure the client, its associates, and facility personnel are provided with a safe and professional work environment 
• Ensure that daily administrative documentation is always kept concise and complete 
• Uniform attire and grooming standards must be maintained while in uniform 
• Perform other related duties as required 

Qualifications and skills:

• Minimum 21 years of age 
• Basic computer skills and report-writing experience 
• Available to work shifts during nights, weekends, and holidays 
• Ability to pass a criminal background check 
• Must be able to handle stressful situations and emergencies

• Salary: $19 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (required)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Security: 1 year (Preferred)
• Military or LEO experience is always preferred as well

License/ Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• Active Security License
• TWIC card (Required)
