Job Description

Midwest Landscape Industries  located in Indianapolis, Indiana has an immediate need for an experienced Irrigation Technician. The Technician will serve Midwest Landscape Industries, Inc. clients by trouble shooting, repairing, and servicing commercial and estate irrigation systems.

Responsibilities

• Services and maintains irrigation systems.
• Ability to service and troubleshoot all major brands of irrigation equipment.
• Interacts directly with customers, distributors of products and company management.
• Ability to understand water flow, general calculations, and basic water management.
• Capable to understand new software and technology.
• Good people skills are a strong plus.
• Minimum of 2 years hands on training or a related service field experience required.
• Manage parts inventory, ordering and service truck stock.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.

Qualifications

Experience in irrigation repair and troubleshooting preferred but willing to train the right individual.

Sales / Customer Service

• Ensure customer satisfaction.
• Resolve and / or route any customer complaint and enter them into call log.
• Prepare estimate for major repairs and additions
• Document all change orders & Additional Work Authorizations.
